Founder’s Story
It all began in a small classroom, during a Spanish lesson. When Esther noticed how her students’ faces lit up while talking about money, she realized something powerful — kids are naturally curious about how the world of money works.

At home, she shared the moment with her husband, Tommy. With both of them coming from careers in banking and technology, their conversation quickly turned into an idea: What if we could teach kids about money in a fun, creative, and practical way?

That simple question became My Piggy Bank Academy — a place where learning about money feels like play, and where every child gains the confidence to make smart choices, dream big, and build a bright financial future.

Together, Tommy and Esther continue to grow the Academy’s mission, partnering with schools, parents, and communities to raise the next generation of money-smart kids.
